AI automation help for small businesses around Fort Worth
We help small businesses around Fort Worth hand off the jobs that eat their week: answering inquiries, sending quotes, chasing invoices, sorting paperwork, and getting the software you already pay for to pull its weight. Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it's a simple script, or a setting nobody ever turned on.
Close to home
Craft & Code is a small studio in Paradise, TX, just past the northwest edge of Fort Worth. The person on your first call is the one who builds it, and the one you'll hear back from later.
Joseph started Craft & Code after years at software companies built for service businesses, getting new customers set up. Plenty of good tools got dropped because the setup was rushed. We do that part properly, for businesses that don't have a spare week to figure it out.
Where we work
We work with businesses in Fort Worth, Denton, Decatur and Weatherford, and on the Dallas side when it's a good fit. First calls happen over video, and most of the setup is done remotely, so being down the road or across the Metroplex doesn't change much.
When it helps to see how the work really happens, like the front desk on a busy Saturday morning, we're happy to drive out. Some things are easier to understand in person.
Who we work with
Salons, contractors, clinics, studios, agencies, and pretty much anyone with repeat customers. The common thread isn't the industry. It's an owner who is great at the work and tired of the busywork around it.
You don't need to be technical, and you don't need to know what AI can do. You only need to know which parts of your week you'd happily never do again. We'll take it from there.
What you'll notice
We don't do AI for the sake of AI. We look for three things, and if a project won't move at least one of them, we'll say so.
- More money: fewer leads slipping through the cracks, quotes out while people still care, and past customers hearing from you again.
- More time: less copy and paste, less chasing, and fewer quick questions that all have to run through you.
- Happier customers: quick answers, thoughtful follow-ups, and fewer dropped balls.
Where to start
Most people start with the one job that bugged them most last week. Four good places to start are below: answering every inquiry, quotes and invoices, the paperwork pile, and the software you already pay for. Pick the one that sounds most like your week, or bring something else to the call. Plenty of good projects started with "this is probably a weird one, but..."
What this looks like
Nobody waits until tomorrow to hear back.
Quotes out the same day, in your words.
Who it is for
Owner-run businesses around North Texas, from one person to a small team, where the owner is still the one answering the phone, writing the quotes and doing the books at night.
If you've thought "there has to be a better way to do this" more than once this month, that's usually a good sign we should talk.
We figure it out. We set it up. You keep it.
No favorite tools and no building for the sake of building. If something you can buy already does the job, we'll tell you to buy it.
Free call
You talk to the person who will do the work. 30 minutes on where you want the business to go and how the work gets done today. Then we send a plain-English proposal: what to fix first, whether to buy or build, and a fixed price.
Free · no obligationSetup
We buy, configure or build whatever the plan calls for, connect it to what you already use, and test it on real work before anyone has to rely on it.
Fixed-price projectHandoff
Your team learns how it works and how to change it. Want us around after? We'll tune things and look for the next thing to hand off.
Optional monthlyQuestions people ask
Do you only work with Fort Worth businesses?
No. We're based just outside Fort Worth, so North Texas is home, but calls are over video and setup is mostly remote. If you're farther away and it's a good fit, we're happy to talk.
Do you come on site?
When it helps, yes. Seeing how a front desk or a job site actually runs can save a lot of guessing. Most of the work itself happens remotely, so you won't have us underfoot.
What size of business is this for?
Small ones, from a solo owner up to a team that still knows everyone's coffee order. If you have more logins than employees, you're in the right place. Bigger companies with their own IT team usually need something different, and we'll tell you so.
What does the first call cover?
It's 30 minutes on where you want the business to go and how the work gets done today. We'll ask about the jobs that eat your week and tell you honestly which ones are worth handing off. Afterward we send a plain-English proposal with a fixed price, and there's no obligation to say yes.
Let's find what's worth handing off.
30 minutes. Tell us how your week goes, and we'll tell you honestly what's worth automating, what isn't, and what it would take.
